Holy Theophany Monastery Hosts Pilgrimage In Honor Of The Mother Of God Of The Life Giving Fountain
The highest concentration of Eastern Catholic Marian pilgrimages per square mile in the United States can be found on the Yelm Highway connecting Olympia, Washington, with Yelm. Pilgrims may attend the Annual Pilgrimage in Honor of The Mother of God of the Life Giving Fountain at Holy Theophany Monastery, June 21 to 23, 2019. Two months later, they may pay their respects at our very own Shrine to Our Lady of Perpetual Help just down the road, August 16 to 18, 2019.
I hope I am not lying. Please let me know if you are aware of a similar concentration of pilgrimages elsewhere. We would love to hear about it.
Our good neighbors, the nuns of Holy Theophany Monastery, are under the jurisdiction of the eparchial bishop of Canton, His Grace Bishop John Michael of the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church in the United States and Canada. The eparchy belongs to the Holy Synod of the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church and is the only Romanian Greek-Catholic eparchy (diocese) outside of Romania. Confused?
